How We WorkUnlike larger agencies, we break up the town according to project. All the agents represent all the clients to their respective casting directors. We do this, because it is a much more efficient way for us to conduct business. It also means that each client has the chance to develop a relationship with every agent, as opposed to having a relationship with just one at a larger company. We function as a team. Each morning til about 11:30, we have a breakdown meeting, where we pitch ideas about the day's submissions. We also discuss problems we're having and brainstorm ways around them. Consequently, the afternoon is the best time to reach us. If you are submitting for representation, we do not accept unsolicited tapes. As it is a group decision, it is not necessary to address your envelope to a specific agent. All the pictures are looked at (usually on Friday). If we are interested, then we will call you for your tape. We do go to showcases. We do go to plays. A priority, of course, are plays in which we have clients. Best way to get us to come to see you is to be in a play with our clients. But by all means, send your postcards and invitations.
